LANGLANDS DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT ALLEGATIONS
Graeme Langlands most likely did not know of the sexual assault allegations leveled against him as he was in an advanced stage of dementia, according to reports. The rugby league legend could not even recognize his former teammates or opponents who were at his bed side to visit him. He barely made any connection.
The legend, who is one of the greatest fullbacks in the history of the game, was charged with six counts of indecent treatment of children below 16. There were allegation that he misbehaved on the Gold Coast with a particular incident between March and June of 1982. Why was Robin van Persie offloaded to a rival club?
After spending 8 seasons at the Emirates Stadium as a player of Arsenal, Robin van Persie made a move to Manchester United and this was a controversial transfer as the Dutch attacker joined a rival club of Arsenal.
This transfer was completed back on August of 2012 and during the season of 2011-12, Manchester United finished in 2nd place while Arsenal had to settle with a 3rd place finish.
So, why would Arsene Wenger allow Robin van Persie to leave and join one of their main rivals? The French manager has recently revealed the reason of why he gave the green light to make this transfer happen.

RVP GETS TWO-MATCH BAN
Robin van Persie is set to serve out a two-match ban for taunting a former teammate whilst in action for Fenerbahce, according to reports.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker celebrated his goal in the 1-0 victory over archrivals Besiktas in the Turkish Cup earlier this month.
Van Persie did his celebration in front of Oguzhan Ozyakup – whom he knows from his time in the North London outfit. Both players clashed earlier when Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic was sent off. The defender was given the marching orders for a push on Van Persie in the 18-yard box.
Van Persie scored 18 minutes from the end of the game and he quickly sought out Ozyakup. He slid in front of the skipper for the opposing sides, provoking him. The player did not take the issue lightly, speaking strongly against his action after the match. Continue reading RVP GETS TWO-MATCH BAN
